
Lisa Farnen
Director
In addition to Lisa's role as Director, she is thrilled to be in the classroom teaching the 4's Program. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Teaching. She also holds Connecticut certification for grades Pre-K through grade Eight. Lisa is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and has previously taught elementary school for a number of years. Lisa and her husband Jim are currently the co-owners of the Farnen Educational Group, an eductional consulting and support services practice in Wilton. Lisa believes that children learn best when they are in a warm, nurturing environment. She loves to read, cook, and spend quality time with her family. Lisa lives in Easton with her husband and four children ages three to twelve.
Savannah Hellgren
Head Teacher
Two's and Three's classroom teacher
Savannah, our Head Teacher, is a graduate of Keene State College and is excited to be teaching in her hometown of Easton. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and a dual major in General Science. She completed her 4 year work study at Keene State College in the Child Development Preschool Center. She also worked with 2 and 3 year olds at the Early Childhood Education Center at the Jewish Community Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Savannah currently teaches our 2's and 3's classes and brings many years of preschool experience to our CCNS program. She strongly believes in creating a positive and successful environment for children to learn in, as well as a fun and stimulating curriculum. Savannah enjoys reading, bowling, Zumba and spending time with her friends
Dawn Fry
Assistant 2's Teacher
Dawn is overjoyed to join the team at Christ's Church Nursery School. She holds a B.S. degree in Human Services and has many years experience working with preschool age children. She worked 10 years as a nanny and 2 years owning and operating her State Certified Day Care. Dawn resides in Easton with her husband Denise and their 2 sons Daniel and Patrick .
Ann Leibell
Assistant 3's Teacher
Ann is delighted to join the CCNS staff and loves working with young children. She is a graduate of Smith College where she earned a B.A. in English and went on to complete a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University. As a stay-at-home mom, Ann has enjoyed being an active volunteer in Easton for the past 8 years. She co-founded Easton Learning Foundation (ELF) in 2004, a local education foundation which raises funds for grants and special projects for all three Easton schools. She is currently vice-president. She was Director of the Christ's Church Sunday School for several years and continues to teach. She lives in Easton and enjoys spending time with her husband David and 2 daughters, Emma and Charlotte.
Jennifer Montero
Turning 2's teacher
Jen is currently the assistant teacher in our 4's class and in February she began teaching our new Turning 2's class. Her education background includes a B.A. in Political Science from Providence College and graduate studies at Sacred Heart University in Early Childhood Education. After working for many years on different trading floors on Wall Street and in the investor relations field, Jen started a family and currently resides in Easton with her husband and three children. Jen is very excited to be a part of the CCNS family and teaching team. When she is not in the classroom, Jen loves all things creative and enjoys weekend on the soccer field with her friends and family.
